This policy covers the Wicked Fish Arcade mobile app and the Wicked Fish games played on the web. It explains what the app records, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The short version: the app does not ask for your name, email, phone number or location, there are no adverts and no tracking, and nothing about you is sold or shared for marketing.
The app is built and operated by Loyalty Apps Ltd (86-90 Paul Street, 3rd Floor, London EC2A 4NE), on behalf of Wicked Fish, who fund and hand out the prizes. Loyalty Apps Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
Questions, or any request below: hello@loyalty-apps.com.
When you first open the app it creates an anonymous player profile automatically. You are not asked to register, and no login is required.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| An anonymous account identifier | So your scores and prizes stay with you between sessions and devices |
| A display name you choose (2–12 characters) | Shown on the leaderboard. Optional, and you pick it — it does not have to be your real name |
| Game results: scores, how long a run lasted, the in-game inputs of that run, and when it happened | To score the game, rank the leaderboard, and check that a submitted score was actually played |
| Prizes you have unlocked or redeemed, when, and at which venue | To show your prize wallet and let staff redeem a prize at the counter |
| Which venue a game was played for | Taken from the link or QR code you opened, not from your device's location |
| Your browser's user-agent string, recorded only at the moment a prize is redeemed | To investigate disputes or abuse of the prize system |
Under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests in running the games, operating the leaderboard, issuing and honouring prizes, and preventing cheating and abuse. Where you choose to enter a display name, you are providing it voluntarily and can change or remove it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, that transfer is covered by the safeguards in their own data processing terms.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your chosen display name and your score appear on the in-game leaderboard, where other players can see them. Please do not use your full name if you would rather not be identifiable.
Player profiles, scores and prize records are kept while the promotion is running so that leaderboards and prize wallets remain accurate. Prizes carry their own expiry date, shown in the app. We delete data sooner on request.
The app is a general-audience game for customers of a food business. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the app and you would like their data removed, contact us and we will delete it.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
To delete your data, open the app and tap Delete my data at the bottom of the Your Prizes section. You can also email hello@loyalty-apps.com if you would rather we did it, or if you played on the web.
Deletion removes your profile, your scores, your place on the leaderboard, your prize records and your account. It cannot be undone, and any prizes you have not yet claimed are lost.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
